Information on how to enter, including details on the prize, form part of these conditions.
Entry is open to Australian residents only. Freedom Boating Club Pty Ltd staff and immediate families and any agents associated with this promotion are excluded from entry.
The total prize value is $4,495. The prize consists of a boat membership on the 26ft Powercat. The winner will receive a total of 3000 points. The winner will need to abide by the company rules and regulations in place for all members.
The winner can use the prize monies towards a larger membership, however, this is solely at the discretion of Freedom Boating Club Pty Ltd.
The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash and cannot be sold.
The promotion commenced on 29th July 2010 and will end on Friday 14th October 2010.
Only one entry per person is valid.
The winner will be selected, based on their skill of answering the following question, ?in less than 25 words, tell us why you should win a boat membership?. The winner will be chosen and notified by phone and by email on Monday 18th October 2010. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or incomplete or misdirected entries.
For any proportion of the prize not used, the winner will not be awarded cash in lieu of the prize.
The membership period will commence as agreed with Freedom Boating Club.
No prize offer may be used in conjunction with any other offer.
To enter the competition, the Promoter needs to collect personal information about each entrant and obtain each entrant's agreement in relation to handling this personal information. If the customer does not provide the information requested on the entry form they will not be entered into the competition. All entries become the property of the Promoter. By entering the promotion, each entrant consents to the information they submit with their entry being entered into a database and the Promoter may use this information for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending electronic messages. All personal details of the entrants will be stored at the office of the Promoter. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office. Upon the entrant?s request, all information provided will be removed from our active database. To request details to be removed, please email info@freedomboatingclub.com.au
By accepting this prize, the customer agrees to participate in any publicity arrangements made by or on behalf of the Promoter in relation to this competition. The promoter reserves the right to publicise the winner?s name, state, suburb and photograph through any print and electronic media and broadcasts in connection with the competition without any further compensation or payment to the winner and the winner consents to this.
